Sen. Bill Ingebrigtsen and I seek your input as we begin the 2010 legislative session: We have scheduled a series of town hall meetings all across the district Feb. 19 and also invite you to participate in a survey we are conducting regarding the key issues.The surveys will be appearing in local newspaper publications over the next couple of weeks and also will be online at www.house.mn/11A.
The top issues we address in the survey and can talk about at the town hall meetings include ways we can help Minnesotans get back to work and also re-thinking the way government operates and ideas for making it more efficient.
The town hall meetings have been popular in the past and we look forward to strong turnouts again this year. This is a great way for us to discuss the issues face to face in an informal setting. Your thoughts and ideas will be very helpful to us as we take on the tough issues at the Capitol.
