GENERAL INFO STEVENS COUNTY ELECTED DELEGATES The Convention will elect 5 delegates and 10 alternates at the Stevens County Convention March2.2012. The elected delegates and Alternates will serve a two-year term. It will involve two District Conventions and two State Conventions. The Conventions could involve two days. The candidates should be in agreement with the Republican Party of Minnesota, the Stevens County Republican Party and the Republican Platform. The candidates should contact the Nominating Committee and express their interest in serving as an Elected Delegate. The BPOU votes to decide if BPOU will cover the early registration fee. If approved the BPOU will reimburse IF THE DELEGATE ATTENDS THE CONVENTION! The BPOU votes to decide to cover car pooling to the Conventions. This will be for one car pool group only. All other costs are at the expense of the Delegates. NOTE: If a delegate is unable to attend a District or State Convention It is the responsibility of the Delegate to contact and designate the first Alternate to fill the vacancy If the first Alternate is unavailable, continue to contact the next in line Alternate until one is found. THIS IS NOT THE RESPONSABILTY OF THE EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE! The Delegate will notify the Chair or Co-Chair when this is completed.
